Translation’s criticism history in Algeria

Abstract

 يكرّسها في التّأريخ للتّرجمة ونقد التّرجمات في الجزائر؟ This paper treats the primordial subject in translation which is criticism. Firstly, it deals with redistributing translation's heritage, by bringing back saint Augustine to his home. His translation's theory is considered among the earliest theories in the world. Secondly, it makes some clarifications on the effect of the colonization period on the translation and translation's criticism involvement. At the end, the article demonstrates that, some experiences in criticism are pioneers in this field like what Ibnchenb and Ridha Houhou had done in the Algerian translation criticism. From a concrete Algerian translation's criticism vision, the paper deals with reconsidering and undergirding those models
