Maalim seeks to promote short-term and long-term research and practice in translation in order to take its natural place among other sciences, the Journal opens contacts with researchers and professors interested in translation issues from Algeria and abroad, especially those who have experiences in translation from and into Arabic. The journal may also publish articles related to applied linguistics in general and anything related to translation , especially if the study is characterised by depth and seriousness.
