The study of Tuareg’s life style is one of the most important issues for researchers in the field of desert literature such as Ibrahim Al Kaouni Al Habib Al Sayeh and others. considered as a mystery whose secrets have not yet been revealed by novelists or translators and this is what we noticed in the novel titled “Tuareg” the subject of our study written by the Spanish writer “Alberto vázquez Figueroa” and translated by “Abdou Zagbour” from Spanish to Arabic As a result we can say that translating the physical and spiritual images of the desert in the imaginary of literature is one of the hardest missions faced by translators.
Therefore, the role of a translator does not consist on reading and translating a literary text but in knowing its cultural context.
