The danger of neglectinginterpretation in translating the meaning of

Abstract

This studyaims to clarify the danger of translation withoutreferring to the books of interpretation, as the Holy Qur’an and itsmeaningswereknown by many translations intodifferentlanguages, and the best of them at all was “The Holy Qur’an and the translation of itsmeaningsinto the English language” by Taqi Al-Din Al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan, and thisisafteritwas a translation. Youssef Ali" is at the forefront. This prestigious position for thesetwo translations motivated me to do research in them, as I wasstopped by some of the places in which the translation penslipped, and I thoughtthatitwasnecessary to look closely and deepen the researchinto the circumstances of thosestumbles to find out their causes and impact on depriving the target group of the truemeaning, and I waskeen to present the appropriate alternative. Finally, or a useful addition, in order to completethatgreatwork in the service of the Noble Qur’an.
