Strategies for teaching the English language using the interactive approach and active learning for children in the primary stage: reality and hopes

Abstract

The study aims to shed light on the importance of improving the quality of English language teaching in the primary stage (third year) in the Algerian educational system, and how to direct attention to the teaching methods used and improve them to achieve better results in learning the English language as it also aims. To enhance students’ interaction and motivate them to better improve their language skills, emphasizing the great importance of the teacher’s role and the strategies available using the interactive approach and active learning in achieving effective development among students at this vital stage in their education path.
