Polite scientific prose: a reading of the concept and technical standards

Abstract

Our article aims to establish the meaning of this art, the reasons for its emergence, the extent of its presence in our intellectual and literary heritage, and the extent of the distinction it displays in contrast to the arts that accompanied it. The problem raised in it is whether this art can carry a concept of its own, what are its artistic standards, and is it a textual approach or creativity spread from literary and scientific production. In this regard, our approach was descriptive and analytical, according to a research plan in which we mentioned the evidence, and we arrived at the conclusion that this art is a prose art that stands on its own and has characteristics that distinguish it from anything else
