الخطاب (Discours) : إنه مصطلح معرفي، ثمة رابط بين أصله اللغوي ومعناه الاصطلاحي. لأن لفظة (خَطَبَ) من الجذر [خ ط ب] وخطب الناس وفيهم وعليهم، أي ألقى خطبة، وخاطبه مخاطبا وخطابا: كالمه وحادثه، أي وجّه إليه كلاما، وقد قيل قديما: خاطبه في الأمر، حدّثه بشأنه
